computer keyboard. The backlight
crystal key cap comprises a key cap body and a bottom projection
light source, the key cap body comprises a pedestal and a
crystal cover covering the pedestal, the surface, of the pedestal, facing the crystal cover is provided with a character, and the character is formed in a way that
laser can penetrate the crystal cover, and engrave the character on the pedestal to form a character pattern; or the character is formed by die
injection moulding and does not need to be engraved or printed, and the pedestal and the crystal cover are made of
sizing materials having different transparency and are combined to form an integral structure through double-material
injection moulding integral moulding manner. According to the invention, in a conventional technology, the process that the character is achieved by being printed on the surface of the button is changed, under the condition that any
printing ink is not employed, the conventional way that after monochromatic
injection moulding, the character is printed and then is pasted is improved, seamless combination is achieved, the dustproof and waterproof effect is good, during the
laser engraving process, the crystal cover is resistant to
laser engraving and is not engraved through by laser, and laser does not engrave the crystal cover; by adjusting the power of a laser beam, the pedestal can be gasified or carbonized, and therefore a character, a symbol or a pattern can be engraved in the pedestal.
