A motorcycle features an improved fairing. The fairing generally comprises a forward panel and a rear panel. The forward panel includes an aperture for a headlight while the rear panel includes apertures for gauges and speakers. By removing the forward panel, a mounting stay and a cavity are revealed. The headlight and the various features secured in the rear panel are mounted to the stay within the cavity. The stay is connected to the frame of the motorcycle and carries the weight of the fairing. An engaging member positively locates the headlight within the forward panel of the fairing when the forward panel is reattached to the motorcycle following maintenance. When the forward panel removed for maintenance, an opening is provided into the cavity defined between the forward panel and the rear panel and the cavity is exposed in both forward and lateral directions.

A headlight assembly for a straddle-type vehicle (e.g., a motor scooter) is provided that is positioned lower to the ground and farther forward than typical headlights to provide enhanced illumination from a front end of the vehicle. The assembly comprises a front portion of a vehicle body cover that extends over a portion of the front wheel of the vehicle. A headlight assembly is disposed at least partially on a front end of the front portion of the vehicle body cover. The headlight assembly comprises an upper light for generating a low beam of light and a lower light for generating a high beam of light. The invention is a sunscreen protector for motorcycles that covers the seat and fuel tank area to protect these components from the deteriorating effects of sunlight. A motorcycle windshield assembly includes two frame units coupled to a windshield. Each frame unit includes a pair of corresponding adjusting elements jointly enclosing an end of an installation rod. Each pair of the adjusting elements are fitted into receiving spaces of a corresponding pair of left and right covers such that teeth formed on each pair of the adjusting elements mesh with teeth formed in the corresponding pair of left and right covers. Each pair of the left and right covers have a side provided with guide grooves for receiving a sliding element coupled to the windshield. Thus, the windshield coupled to the frame units can be conveniently raised, lowered, or tilted to provide the desired shielding effect. The motorcycle windshield assembly is flexibly adjustable in height and tilt angle and is collapsible when not in use.

A motorcycle capable of reducing air resistance against a portion of a fairing located on a headlight and improving rigidity of the portion of the fairing located on the headlight is provided. In this motorcycle, the headlight includes a front upper edge formed to outwardly extend beyond a pair of rearview mirror supports, and the fairing includes a screen having a lower edge arranged to be substantially entirely adjacent to the upper edge of the headlight.

The invention provides a pair of panels, positioned on opposite sides of a motorcycle, and supported on the front portion of the frame of the motorcycle to deflect air flow or wind away from the rider. A motorcycle having a storage compartment structure having an improved outward appearance by avoiding exposure of one or more fasteners utilized in connection with the storage compartment structure to a driver's side of the motorcycle. A storage compartment comprises a leg shield and plates separate from the leg shield. The plates are detachably mounted to the leg shield by one or more clamping members or fasteners, such as screws, which are inserted into the leg shield in a direction from the front of the motorcycle toward the rear of the motorcycle.

A wind deflector assembly attachable to the exterior, front or side surface of a vehicle windshield or body, adaptable to be connected to differently shaped and contoured windshields and bodywork, tunable to obtain the desired wind deflection effect and, in some embodiments, removable and reattachable to the vehicle windshield or other aerodynamically desirable locations on the vehicle body. The exterior surface mounted adjustable wind deflector of the present invention comprises a transparent, flexible shield along with two integrated mounting assemblies in the preferred embodiment. The mounting assemblies employ a clamshell type connector adapted for adhesive attachment to the exterior front surface of a windshield without having to drill or otherwise alter the windshield. In other embodiments, the mounting assemblies may utilize a simple non-clamshell adhesive connector, a hook-and-loop connector, a magnetic connector, or similar connection methods to attach the wind deflector to an aerodynamically desirable location on the vehicle windshield or body. The mounting assemblies each comprise a peripherally-toothed post that is integrated into of one the leaves of the clamshell connector. The post is threadedly mated to one end of a stem extending along the central longitudinal axis of the post. The other end of the stem is threadedly mated to a ball. A platform connector element carries as a part thereof a jaw-forming socket sized to receive the ball and squeeze it so as to maintain an adjusted position when the jaws of the socket are tightened down thereagainst. The platform connector element further includes means to attach the shield to the mounting assemblies using screws and adhesive tape.

A screen for a vehicle which allows air flow to flow appropriately along a rear face of a wind screen having an adjustable inclination angle. A baffle plate inclined toward the rear direction of a vehicle body is provided between a cowling which covers a front upper portion of the vehicle body and a movable wind screen. The inclination angle of the baffle plate can be adjusted so that air flow from between the cowling and the movable wind screen flows along a rear face of the movable wind screen.

A motorcycle cowl structure for suppressing a flow of air flowing toward a rider and a pillion passenger when the rider travels alone or when a pillion passenger is mounted on the same vehicle. A flow of air flowing toward a rider sitting on a rider seat and a pillion passenger sitting on a pillion passenger seat is suppressed by the cowl structure that includes left and right cowl main body portions for preventing the flow of air from hitting the knee portions, thighs, waist and flanks of the rider. Left and right movable cowl portions are provided on the respective left and right cowl main body portions so as to be movable vehicle-widthwise and opened to prevent flow of air from hitting the pillion passenger. The opening and closing of the movable cowl portions can suppress flow of air flowing toward the rider and the pillion passenger.

A bicycle bag which comprises a covering body, a main support strap, a first connection device and a second connection device is disclosed. The major characteristic of the present invention is that the main support strap, the first connection device, and the second connection device are directly or indirectly connected with each other. By means of associating with connection members, the first connection device and the second connection device can be fastened to a bicycle. Therefore, when the first connection device and the second connection device receive a force from the weight of the bicycle, the main support strap is capable of bearing such a force.
