The embodiment of the invention discloses a slot type solid state disk (SSD), which is used for fully utilizing free space of a case. The slot type SSD comprises a memory bar circuit board, and an SSD module, an SSD control module, a transmission interface and a power supply interface which are fixed on the memory bar circuit board, wherein the SSD module is used for storing data; the SSD control module is used for controlling the SSD module to perform read-write operation; the transmission interface is used for transmitting the data; the power supply interface is used for supplying power to the SSD module and the SSD control module; and a golden finger which meets the specification of a dual in-line memory module (DIMM) is arranged at the bottom of the memory bar circuit board.
