emergency evacuation technology, specifically disclosing a method for the safe evacuation of personnel in deep underground buildings and their clusters, combining vertical and horizontal elements. Based on the concept of a shared
safety zone in deep underground buildings, it proposes a method for three streams of people to evacuate simultaneously in the stairwell in an "upward-downward-upward" manner. The building is divided into three evacuation spaces of equal level (upper, middle, and lower), with two evacuation direction conversion points and one shared
safety zone. Personnel in the upper evacuation space evacuate upwards to the ground via the nearest evacuation direction conversion point. Personnel in the middle and lower evacuation spaces evacuate via the second evacuation direction conversion point, leading to the shared
safety zone. This provides a deep underground building cluster technology with an infinitely scalable and resilient evacuation network, forming a new design and
planning method. The advantages of this invention are: extremely compressed total evacuation time, significantly improved reliability of underground spaces under extreme disasters, and the realization of intensive and
sustainable development.
