The invention discloses a pest and
disease damage control method for red-rooted
salvia planting. The method includes the steps of 1, before planting, soaking roots in 200 times of 25%
carbendazim solution, used for roots, rootstocks or
seedling roots, for 10 minutes, and planting after air-
drying; 2, performing
crop rotation, and not planting the red-rooted
salvia in a same plot over two years; 3, along with
land preparation, spreading 3kg of 3%
phoxim particles to the land surface per mu, turning the land to bury the
phoxim, and sterilizing soil; 4, making beds or ridges not smaller than 20cm in height during planting, digging a
drainage ditch around, and dredging the
ditch to drain rainwater in time after rains; 5, spraying 0.3%
monopotassium phosphate to leafs in May to July to improve
disease resistance of the red-rooted
salvia; 6, after the red-rooted salvia is harvested, clearing dead twigs and leaf residue out of fields in time, and burning the dead twigs and leaf residue together. Statistics shows that through the application of the pest and
disease damage control method for red-rooted salvia planting,
dry weight per Mu in red-rooted salvia planting reaches 650kg / mu, that is 116.7% higher than that of the yield per Mu of existing red-rooted salvia planting, and accordingly, the pest and
disease damage control method for red-rooted salvia planting is good for large-scale planting of the red-rooted salvia.
