Embodiment Construction

[0023] figure 1 with 2 Both denote the shielding wall SW, for example the plan view of the rear wall of the metal appliance housing, which has an opening OE for the passage of cables. On the two opposite opening edges OR1 and OR2 of the opening OE there are connecting webs BL1 and BL2 which project into the opening OE and are electrically conductive and flexible. In this exemplary embodiment, four connecting tabs BL1 are disposed on the opening edge OR1, and four connecting tabs BL2 opposite to the connecting tab BL1 are disposed on the opening edge OR2. For the sake of clarity, only the two opposite connecting lugs BL1 and BL2 are numbered. The open OE is designed to be large enough to allow passage of 4 cables and associated cable plugs. In particular, the distance between opposing connecting lugs BL1 and BL2 is significantly greater than the cable diameter of the cable to be passed.

Abstract

The present invention provides a cable-leading device leads cable through an opening (OE) in a screening wall (SW) and has contact-making devices (BL1, BL2) and connecting devices (KB1, KB2, BL1, BL2) on two opposite edges (OR1, OR2) of each opening in order to get a cable (K) to be led through to make contact on the two opposite edges (OR1, OR2) of the opening and to fasten it. The opening (OE) is thus, to a certain extent, bridged by the installed cable (K), thus reducing any adverse effect on the shielding effect caused by the opening (OE).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cable bushing through an opening in a shielding wall. Background technique [0002] Electromagnetic shielding of appliances or assemblies is becoming increasingly important for the development of electrical appliances with a high layer density and very high operating frequencies, as this is associated with an increase in the electromagnetic interference fields inside and outside the appliance. [0003] Shielding shells or shielding walls are usually provided for electromagnetic shielding. However, generally openings are required in such shielding shells or shielding walls for the passage of cables, and these would be detrimental to the shielding effect. Usually, it is necessary to provide a larger opening so that a cable plug having a larger diameter than the cable can also pass through with the cable. However, the larger the opening, the greater the reduction in shielding effectiveness. When the openings are round, the re...
