Embodiment Construction

[0028] Figure 1 shows a super transport aircraft 1 transporting a fuselage section 4 of a secondary aircraft from a cargo compartment 2 within a fuselage 3. The length L of the fuselage section 4 is smaller than the length L′ of the cargo compartment 2 . The length L or L' refers to the dimension of the fuselage section 4 or the cargo hold 2 in the direction of the axis A of the cargo hold 2 . The interior space of the cargo hold 2 can completely accommodate the fuselage section 4 . If the length of a certain part of the secondary aircraft exceeds the length L' of the cargo compartment 2, it can still be transported, in a manner explained below (see FIG. 6).

[0029] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the supertransport vehicle 1 showing a cargo compartment 2 in cross-section. The bulkhead 5 of the fuselage 3 of the cargo compartment 2 lacks structural rigidity at least in places. An unladen super transport vehicle 1 cannot withstand the pressure and compressive forces to ...

Abstract

The invention concerns a super-transporter aircraft (1, 100) for transporting at least one element (4, 102) of a secondary aircraft, characterized in that the structural rigidity of a fuselage (3, 104) of the super-transporter is at least partly imparted by the transported element. The super-transporter aircraft can be equipped with a securing device (11, 105) for securing the transported element to the fuselage of the super-transporter aircraft, said securing device being adapted to pick up the loads to which the super-transporter aircraft is subjected.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a super-transport aircraft, the cargo compartment of which can be used in particular for the transport of components of secondary aircraft, or more generally for the transport of large cargoes. A secondary aircraft refers to an aircraft that is smaller in size than a super transport aircraft. [0002] According to this invention, the super transport vehicle can be used in the aircraft industry, after the various components of the secondary aircraft are processed at a remote location, these parts can be transported to the same assembly plant by the super transport vehicle. Secondary aircraft components refer to the various parts of the aircraft such as cockpit, fuselage sections, wings, engines, etc. For the components produced, manufacturing an aircraft requires various capabilities and means, especially in terms of technology. Similarly, an aircraft may be produced in a certain chronological order at distant processing...
