This invention provides a method for setting up O&M channel in RF zoom out base stations including: a zoom out RF unit controller initiates the O&M broadcast channel to transmit information to a switch unit, the controller of which analyzes said information to send the O&M channel information to a zoom out RF unit, the controller of which analyzes the channel information to switch it from the broadcast channel to its special channel to transmit confirmed information to an exchange unit, which sends the configured information sent by the baseband unit controller to the zoom out RF unit via the O&M special channel, and the controller of which anlyzes the configured information for related distribution to realize dynamic access of the O&M channel. This invention also provides a packet structure of the channel.
