Abstract

The invention discloses a real-time recording method for an IPTV live broadcast television, which relates to the field of IPTV recording and is used for applying an IPTV system to record media stream of the live broadcast television. The method includes the following steps: a content management engine transmits a recording task containing the start time of recording to a media control unit; then the media control unit transmits the recording task to a stream media server according to the order of start time of recording; the stream media server sets the start time of the recording task and the playing time of the media stream of live broadcast television synchronous and conducts recording of the television media stream. The invention realizes real-time recording for the media stream in the live broadcast television in the IPTV system. The invention has timeliness and facilitates unified management and operation for the real-time recording process.
