Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: when each node determines that the own master clock fails, the node takes the own second optimal clock as the own current optimal clock. Each node determines the master clock according the current own optimal clock. By the invention, when the next selection of the master clock begins, the selection is carried out based on the second optimal clock learned by the node, instead of starting from the beginning, thereby reducing the transmission of broadcast messages and shortening the time used for master clock selection.
