Embodiment Construction

[0040] The implementation of the percutaneous two-way wireless communication device based on the PPM modulation method of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0041] Figure 1 shows a percutaneous two-way wireless communication device based on PPM modulation for an implantable medical instrument system, including an implantable medical instrument 1, an external program controller 2, and a handheld computer (ie, PDA) 3 . The PDA can perform wireless data transmission with the implanted medical instrument in the body through the program controller, and the program controller is a communication interface device between the PDA and the implanted medical instrument. The communication between PDA and program controller uses serial port communication; the communication between program controller and implanted medical instruments in the body uses PPM wireless communication modulation mode. The implantable medical devic...

Abstract

The invention discloses a percutaneous and bidirectional wireless communication device which is based on a PPM modulating way and belongs to the technical field of implanted medical treatment devices. The device consists of an external programmed controller, which comprises a control unit, a first emitting circuit, a first receiving circuit and a first radio frequency coupling unit; an implanted medical treatment device, which comprises a microcontroller, a second emitting circuit, a second receiving circuit and a second radio frequency coupling unit; a palm computer, which comprises a communication port that is connected with the external programmed controller. The invention selects the pulse position modulating (PPM) way for the wireless communication modulating between the implanted medical treatment device and the external programmed controller, and adopts serial communication between the external programmed controller and a PDA, cyclic redundancy checking for data checking, and a data signaling and request-response way for communication controlling. The invention is independent of the scale of communication data flow rate, has the advantages of simple implementation way, reliable communication process, small volume, low power consumption and high transmission speed, etc., and can be widely used for the data communication of multiple applications of various implanted medical treatment device systems.

Description

technical field [0001] A percutaneous two-way wireless communication device based on a PPM modulation method relates to a two-way wireless communication device between an implanted medical instrument and an external telemetry / program-controlled instrument, and belongs to the technical field of implanted medical instruments. Background technique [0002] There are many types of implantable medical instruments, such as implantable cardiac pacemakers, brain pacemakers, nerve stimulators, muscle stimulators, ECG recorders, etc. Information is exchanged between them through two-way wireless communication. [0003] The communication technology used in implantable medical instruments is characterized by low speed, short distance, low power consumption, miniaturization, and high reliability. Under normal circumstances, due to the small amount of telemetry / program control data, a communication rate of more than tens of bytes per second can meet the requirements; implantable medical ...
