Abstract

The invention discloses a pressure releasing valve with a waterproof structure, comprising a connecting thread at the lower part of an external circumferential wall, a hex nut at the middle part and a circumferential wall which is adjacent to the hex nut. The upper part of the circumferential wall of the pressure releasing valve is provided with a position limit ring which is radially convex. The pressure releasing valve also comprises a waterproof cover which covers the positions above the hex nut of the pressure releasing valve. The waterproof cover comprises an axial exsection part wall surface, an arch typed cover with the internal circumferential surface matched with the external circumferential surface of the position limit ring, a top cover which is arranged at the upper end of the cover and a ring-shaped clamping frame with an opening. The clamping frame is fixedly arranged on the internal wall of the lower part of the cover; furthermore, when the waterproof cover is arranged on the pressure releasing valve, the clamping frame is clamped on the circumferential wall between the hex nut and the position limit ring of the pressure releasing ring. The pressure releasing valve adopts a waterproof cover which leads the pressure releasing valve which is exposed on the external wall of a transformer oil tank to be covered, thus eliminating the problem that water is accumulated in the internal chamber of the pressure releasing valve, and further avoids insulation accident.
