Problems solved by technology

When the cluster size is large, it will become the performance bottleneck of the deployment system
In addition, because the TFTP transmission is based on the UDP protocol, when the cluster scale is large, the TFTP server is overloaded, which will increase the probability of failure to deploy the micro-operating system, and the reliability is difficult to guarantee

[0032] 1) After the node starts, capture the MAC address of the node and write it into the node information file. Its implementation method is: start the DHCP service first, and then start each node. After the node is started, the broadcast MAC address can be captured by the DHCP service program, and the MAC address of each starting node can be obtained by reading the information in the DHCP lease file. In the Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS4.0 operating system, the lease file is / var / lib / dhcp / dhcpd.leases. By parsing the file, the MAC address can be obtained. An example parsing script is:

[0033] cat / var / lib / dhcp / dhcpd.leases|grep -o'\<[0-9a-f]\{2\}:[0-9a-f]\{2\}:[0-9a-f ]\

[0034] {2\}:[0-9a-f]\{2\}:[0-9a-f]\{2\}:[0-9a-f]\{2\}\>’>macListFile

[0035] 2) The captured MAC address is saved to the node information file, which includes three columns of data: MAC, IP and deployment status, in the following form:

[0036] 00:30:48:64:37:FE 192.168.0.40 0

Abstract

The invention discloses a deployment method for a micro-operation system with a self-adaptive transmission model. With the method, the transmission model of the micro-operation system is adaptively constructed through comparing a node scale N in a cluster and the size of the node number M synchronously deployed by a TFTP server at most. When N is smaller than or equal to M, the micro-operation system is deployed by adopting a C / S transmission model; when M is smaller than N, and N is smaller than or equal to 2M, the nodes are deployed in batches by adopting the C / S transmission model, and the batching method overcomes the disadvantage that the deployment of the micro-operation system is failed caused by excessively heavy load of a TFTP server side; when N is larger than 2M, the C / S transmission model is automatically evolved into a multi-way tree transmission model, and by converting the nodes partially loaded with the micro-operation system into nodes which can provide TFTP service, the micro-operation system is deployed to each node in the tree layer-by-layer and in batches. The multi-way tree transmission model overcomes the bottleneck problem of the deployment of the single TFTP server, has better expandability, and deployment ability exponentially increased along with increase of time. The method is effective and realizes the deployment process of the micro-operation system in the multi-node computing system reliably.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of computers, relates to a cluster deployment technology, in particular to a micro-operating system deployment method with an adaptive transmission model. Background technique [0002] A cluster is a computing system with a single system image formed by interconnecting a group of computer systems (nodes) through a high-performance network or a local network. Due to its advantages of high performance, high scalability, and high cost performance, it has become a popular trend to use clusters to construct supercomputers or network servers. [0003] With the continuous expansion of application requirements, the scale of the cluster has expanded from hundreds of nodes in the past to tens of thousands of nodes. How to efficiently complete the deployment of large-scale cluster systems has become a challenging problem. The image-based cluster deployment method is currently the most widely used deployment method. The advantag...
