Problems solved by technology

Therefore, the optimization process of the border cells is very lengthy, causing the mobile communication network to be unable to respond to some unexpected situations, to quickly adjust network performance, and to complete network optimization in a timely manner, so that it is impossible to further improve the service quality of the network

Embodiment 1

[0025] see figure 2 , is a schematic diagram of the mobile communication network management architecture provided by Embodiment 1 of the present invention.

[0026] Such as figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , a connection is established through a horizontal interface between EMSs with adjacent border cells. Each EMS obtains the performance statistical data of the border cell it manages. When the performance statistical data of a certain border cell meets the negotiation conditions saved in the preset adjustment strategy, it will communicate with the geographical location of the border cell through the established horizontal interface. The peer-to-peer EMSs of neighboring cells that are not managed by the same EMS conduct negotiation; the peer-to-peer EMSs to which the neighboring cells belong perform configuration adjustments for the neighboring cells.

[0027] In Embodiment 1 and the following embodiments, the peer-to-peer EMS refers to an EMS that is at the same level and has ...

Embodiment 2

[0033] see image 3 , which is a flow chart of border cell configuration adjustment provided in Embodiment 2, and the specific process includes:

[0034] Step 101: Configure an adjustment strategy for border cells.

[0035] The adjustment policy of the border cell can be configured by the upper network management system NMS or by other management systems, and can be stored in each EMS.

[0036]Secondly, the upper layer also needs to send (or configure in each EMS) the relevant data of the adjacent cells corresponding to its border cells to each EMS, such as: the identity of the adjacent cell, the identity of the peer EMS to which the adjacent cell belongs Wait.

[0037] The adjustment strategy of the border cell may include but not limited to the following information:

[0038] 1. Initiate negotiation conditions for border cell configuration adjustment with the peer EMS (the peer EMS refers to the EMS to which the adjacent cell belongs, the same below). For example, the ne...

Embodiment 3

[0056] see Figure 4 , which is a flow chart of border cell configuration adjustment provided in Embodiment 3, and the specific process includes:

[0057] Step 201: It is the same as step 101 in Embodiment 2 and will not be repeated here.

[0058] Step 202: It is the same as step 102 in Embodiment 2, and will not be repeated here.

[0059] Step 203: The EMS selects a peer-to-peer EMS with a higher priority to send a negotiation request according to the priorities of each peer-to-peer EMS.

[0060] In this step 203, the EMS judges whether the negotiation condition in the adjustment strategy is satisfied according to the KPI data analysis result of the managed border cell, so as to decide whether to start the negotiation process with the peer EMS.

[0061] In practical application, the corresponding threshold value of each KPI data can be set as the negotiation condition. When the KPI data of the border cell reaches the corresponding preset threshold value, it is judged that t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a border district configuration control method in a mobile communicating network, comprising that: a net element management system exchanges the managed border district information with other net element management system through interfaces between the net element management systems, and negotiates configuration control of the managed border district with the net element management system of transmitting the border district information according to the received district information. According to the invention, it is avoided that EMS is required to report to performance statistics data of each border district to NMS in prior art, then NMS completes the analysis of all related border district performance statistics data, and sends down more complex regulating and controlling process of configuration control project of each border district, which not only relieves working load of upper layer NMS, but also markedly advances optimizing configuration speed of the district, thereby causing the mobile communicating network to better respond sudden event, advancing service quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method for adjusting configuration of border cells in a mobile communication network and a network element management system. Background technique [0002] The operation of the mobile communication network requires a powerful operation support system to provide comprehensive management functions. The operation support system of the communication network mainly includes several functional systems such as the billing system, the network monitoring and management system, and the customer management system. Among them, the network monitoring and management system monitors and analyzes the operating status of the network in real time, discovers, locates and handles various faults in the network in time, and adjusts the configuration of the network to suit different users. For mobile communication networks, due to the mobility of users, the network is required to have more fl...
