Abstract
The invention relates to a ratchet screw driver, in particular to a high-torque ratchet screw driver and a ratchet wheel device thereof. The ratchet wheel device of the screw driver comprises a ratchet wheel seat, an external closing ring, a pawl seat and two pawls, wherein, the ratchet wheel seat is sheathed on the pawl seat; an inner ring of the ratchet wheel seat is provided with a ratchet engaged with the pawls; side walls on two sides of the pawl seat are respectively provided with a hinge slot; the two pawls are respectively hinged inside the hinge slots; the pawl seat is provided with a return spring which leads the pawls to stretch towards two sides and maintains the engagement with the ratchet; the external closing ring is sheathed outside the two pawls; an inner ring of the external closing ring is provided with an arc notch; external ends of the two pawls are received in the arc notch; the arc notch is provided with two convex edges; when the external closing ring rotates towards one side, one convex edge presses one pawl inwards to lead the pawl to be separated from the engagement with the ratchet.
