Abstract

The invention discloses an improved sphere decoding algorithm aiming at superimposed decoding reuse (OvCDM), wherein when the algorithm calculates the channel transition probability of each accepted symbol, a circle with an accepted symbol as the centre of circle and with r as the radius is selected, only the channel transition probability between K' constellation points whose distance to the accepted symbol is smaller than or equal to r and the accepted symbol is calculated, and the channel transition probability between other K-K' probability constellation points and the accepted symbol is set to be zero. The sphere decoding algorithm of the invention improves the OvCDM code decoding algorithm and greatly reduces the number of constellation points which need calculating in decoding through combining a traditional OvCDM code decoding algorithm and the sphere decoding algorithm, the decoding calculation amount is lowered, and simultaneously the algorithm also can prominently improve the error-correcting performance since the disturbance of useless constellation points to decoding is reduced.
