Problems solved by technology

Meanwhile, although an attack onset signal detection method is disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 7,050,980 in which an attack onset signal is detected from music data in a compressed domain, it does not estimate the BPM in an appropriate manner, while described in this specification. What is different is the impact starting point signal detection method and its equipment

Embodiment Construction

[0018] Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like numerals refer to like parts throughout. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.

[0019] figure 1 is a block diagram showing a beat extraction device according to an embodiment of the present invention. figure 1 The illustrated beat extraction device includes: an onset signal (onset) detector 10 , a tempo calculator 20 , a harmonic beat group estimator 30 , a main harmonic beat set determiner 40 and a beat selector 50 . Optionally, the beat extraction device includes a partial decoder (not shown), which partially decodes the MDCT-transformed encoded audio file to obtain corresponding MDCT data. For example, the audio file can be MP3 (moving image Expert Group Sound Layer 3), AC-3 (Audio Coding-3), AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) files, etc.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for estimating beats from MDCT audio data of audio files, comprising: (1) the MDCT audio data is divided into a plurality of sub bands, and impact initial point signals of every sub band are detected; (2) the period of the impact initial point signals of every sub band is calculated; (3) a harmonic beat group is estimated from the periodic impact initial point signals; (4) the beats of the audio files are chosen from the harmonic beat group.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method and device for extracting beats from audio files, in particular to a method and device for selecting beats extracted from audio data in MDCT (Modified Discrete Cosine Transform) domain based on emotional parameters of audio files. Background technique [0002] Recently, with the development of digital technology, various ways of managing and playing audio files have emerged. In order to use audio files more flexibly, people pay more and more attention to the extraction of audio file information. Tempo, as information indicating the tempo of an audio file, is one of the important attributes describing an audio file. For music files, beats primarily refer to beats of fixed frequency produced by percussion instruments. In an audio file, multiple beats of different frequencies occur at different times. The beat information with practical significance refers to the main beat in an audio file, which is called the ...
