Abstract

The invention provides a virtual computing environment system constructed based on a virtual machine. The system is used for providing a consistent and unified computing environment for a user on a computer connected to a network, which causes that the user can obtain the computing environment which is on the computer at any place and is identical with that of the personal computer in a familiar workplace. Based on the virtual machine technology, a tool named OS browser is designed as a unified virtual platform for operation of the user computing environment. The user assigns a system mapping from the network by the platform and creates a corresponding customer operating system as the operating system of the user computing environment. Additionally, virtual network facilities can cause the user to access network resources in the network of the familiar workplace in the computing environment.
