Abstract

The invention discloses a method for transmitting small range of multicast services of a multimedia broadcast (MBMC) consisting of nontransparent relay stations (RS), which comprises the following steps that: various nontransparent RSs in the covering area of MBMS service requirement to be played performs consistent service mapping and modulation on MBMS service data required to be transmitted toobtain MBMS service sign level data; same time frequency two-dimensional resources are allocated to the MBMS service data in various nontransparent RSs participating in the MBMS services; and the various nontransparent RSs insert a reference signal to the MBMS service data, and then perform OFDM operation on the MBMS service data so as to form and transmit emission signals. The invention also discloses a method for receiving small range of MBMS consisting of the nontransparent RSs. The methods can provide the MBMS services with small range and features in the nontransparent RSs covering area,and simultaneously provide power merging gain for the UE end.
