Abstract

The present invention relates to a hemming device for a vehicle panel capable of efficiently hemming an inner panel and an outer panel of a vehicle body through a roller pressing system using an articulated robot. The hemming device of the present invention adopts a roller hemming system using a novel type of robot having an assembly-type roller head mounted on a multi-joint robot to collectively carry out hemming processes which otherwise would be performed step by step. The hemming device of the present invention is capable of performing hemming processes for the inner panel and the outer panel at the same time, thus shortening work time, enabling mass production, and increasing the yield rate. Further, the hemming device of the present invention is capable of performing hemming processes for the inner panel and the outer panel collectively through a single process, improving the hemming quality.
