Abstract

The invention provides a computer system and a relevant method for managing power consumption. The computer system for managing power consumption comprises a current detection module, a power control module and a feedback control module and also comprises a power supply device for outputting a system voltage according to a feedback signal. The current detection module measures system current to generate current information. The power control module comprises a computer unit and a user interface, wherein the computer unit calculates the power consumption according to the current information or the system voltage; and the user interface comprises a plurality of function adjusting functions and is used for displaying the current information and the power consumption and generating a corresponding voltage control signal according to the selected power adjusting function. The feedback control module adjusts the feedback signal according to the voltage control signal.
