Embodiment Construction

[0031] Hereinafter, specific embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. This invention may, however, be embodied in many forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.

[0032] The object of the present invention is to devise a system capable of using pseudo-orthogonal codes instead of typical orthogonal codes, using code bits having the same length as orthogonal codes, obtaining spreading characteristics, and transmitting more data.

[0033] Specifically, the spectral efficiency of 0.25 in the prior art can be significantly improved by converting 9 data bits into a 16-bit pseudo-orthogonal code having the same number of bits as the prior art orthogonal code.

[0034] In order to explain this system, the 9-bit input bit (transmissi...

Abstract

The invention relates to a transmitter using a pseudo orthogonal code, which comprises a serial-to-parallel converter and a pseudo orthogonal code memory, wherein the serial-to-parallel converter converts serial transmitting data into 9-digit parallel data; the pseudo orthogonal code memory receives the parallel data from the serial-to-parallel converter and uses the received data as an address to output a 16-digit pseudo orthogonal code; and the pseudo orthogonal code memory has the relation between the input address and the output code, which is expressed in the equation, wherein C(i) stands for the value of the pseudo orthogonal code, and i stands for each digit of the pseudo orthogonal code, and i is larger than or equal to 0 and is smaller than or equal to 15, and b0-b8 are bit streams of the transmitting data which is used as the address and input in the memory. Thus, the transmission efficiency of the transmitter / receiver using the orthogonal code can be obviously improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to wireless transmitters and receivers using orthogonal codes, and more particularly, to pseudo-orthogonal transmitters and receivers which are more spectrally efficient than conventional orthogonal coding schemes. Background technique [0002] figure 1 A typical orthogonal code table is shown in . The prior art quadrature encoder receives 4 bits in total, and the bit stream has 16 (=2 4 ) situation. [0003] In general, an orthogonal code with 16 codes must be 16 bits long, figure 1 An example of a Walsh orthogonal code is illustrated. [0004] In orthogonal codes, it is important that the Walsh code columns are orthogonal to each other. For example, as represented in the following equation, the cross-correlation value of the first Walsh code "0000000000000000" and the second Walsh code "0101010101010101" is zero. This means that the two codes are orthogonal to each other. [0005] c = ...
