The invention provides automatic abstracting method and system based on a user comment text feature. The method comprises the following steps: crawling and analyzing a user comment webpage and carrying out a series of pretreatments on user comments; identifying features commented by users from the user comments; classifying user comment sentences according to the commented features and filtering the feathers according to the classifying result of the comment sentences; calculating the score of the comment sentences and extracting several abstracting sentences to generate an abstract. The invention can accurately identify the features interested by the users from a large quantity of user comments, classify the comment sentences according to the features of the comments, and then automatically generate the concise and comprehensive abstract by using a test abstracting method based on sentence extraction, thereby helping users obviously improve the efficiency and the quality for acquiringknowledge.
