Embodiment Construction

[0004] 1 To accurately determine the LAI of deciduous forests, the larger the sample area for collecting fallen leaves, the better. In a Landsat TM pixel size (30m×30m), the sampling accuracy of only 5×5m is not enough, only at least 100m 2 (that is, four adjacent 5m×5m small samples) can ensure that the error of LAI is less than 10% at a probability level of >90%.

[0005] 2 to measure all 100m 2 The defoliation is difficult and clumsy, especially in dense primary forests. The quick observation method is: on four adjacent 5m×5m plots, each 25m 2 artificially select a representative 1m 2 Sampling or randomly laying no less than 4 pieces of 1m 2 Such sampling can ensure that the observation error of LAI is less than 10% at a probability level of more than 95%.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for fast and efficiently measuring leaf area index as an important ecological structure parameter of a deciduous forest, which overcomes the disadvantages of time andmanpower waste through using a fallen leaf collection method and can greatly shorten needed time of measurement when the investigation precision is ensured. In a sample plot with the Landsat TM pixelof 30m*30m, the sampling precision of just 5m*5m is not enough, and the error of LAI is ensured to be less than 10 percent at the probability level more than 90 percent by at least taking 100m<2>(i.e. four adjacent 5m*5m small samples). In the four adjacent 5m*5m sample plots, a representative 1m<2> sample is manually selected or no less than four 1m<2> samples are randomly distributed to each 25m<2> sample plot. By utilizing the method, the observation error of LAI can be ensured to be less than 10 percent at the probability level of more than 95 percent.

Description

technical field [0001] The method involves the rapid and effective determination of leaf area index, an important ecological structure parameter of deciduous forest. Background technique [0002] At present, there are a large number of researches at home and abroad involving the direct observation of LAI by using the fallen leaf collection method, but the experimental schemes are different and even far from each other. Cutini (et al., 1998) randomly arranged 9-28 areas of 0.25m in the deciduous forest 2 or 0.5m 2 collection baskets to collect fallen leaves and directly observe LAI in deciduous forests. Clough (et al., 2000) utilizes only three 1m 2 Collect Baskets to collect mangrove leaves to calculate their LAI. On a 50m×50m plot, Bouriaud (et al., 2003) only arranged a 0.5m 2 collection baskets to collect fallen leaves. Raffy (et al., 2003) use 5 or 10m 2 resolution to measure 100m 2 Leaf area index of forest sites. Some studies only used 8-10 collection baskets ...
