Embodiment Construction

[0025] See more specifically figure 1 , Is a schematic diagram of the ice maker 10 according to the present invention. It is understandable that the basic structure and operation of the ice maker have been disclosed in the aforementioned US Patent No. 5,261,248, and the content of the patent disclosure is incorporated into the present invention for reference, and will not be repeated here.

[0026] figure 1 The described exemplary ice maker includes a mold 11, water is transferred into the mold 11 through a filling distributor 12 to form an ice body, and the filling distributor 12 is connected to a solenoid valve 14 through a water supply line 15. The solenoid valve 14 may in turn be connected to an appropriately pressurized water supply. The ice maker 10 further includes a control module 18 located in front of the mold 11 for operating the ice ejector 20 to remove the ice body from the mold as soon as the water freezing cycle in the mold 11 is completed. The ice ejector 20 has ...

Abstract

The invention relates to an ice machine used for a refrigerator/cold storage plant, which is provided with a control module which can more reliably drive a rotatable ice discharger so as to remove ice bodies from an ice machine die, and then the water is utilized to fill a die cavity. The control module is coupled with an ice discharger drive comprising a gear and a discharger shaft unit, wherein the gear and the discharger shaft unit are made of rigid plastics, preferably polyamide resin, and the high torque is transmitted to the rotatable ice discharger without plastic drive component damage. In one embodiment, a drive casing and a drive shaft on the gear are connected by a spline, which can more effectively distribute the driving force in a drive clutch. In another embodiment, a metal pipe is tightly sleeved on the gear casing so as to increase the torque transmission in the drive clutch. Although the small change at the water setting position is filled with contacts due to manufacturing tolerance or the force carried on the ice machine in loading, conveying or installing, during each operating cycle period, the control module can further fill the die cavity of the ice machine operably according to the predetermined standards.

Description

[0001] This application is a divisional application for an invention patent application whose application date is "November 21, 2005", the application number is "200510124815.1", and the invention title is "Refrigerator for refrigerator". Technical field [0002] The present invention relates to an ice maker, and more particularly to an improved drive control module for an ice maker applied to refrigerators or similar devices. Background technique [0003] It is well known that ice making machines are used in refrigerators or refrigerating devices. For example, the ice making machine disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 5,261,248 includes a mold in which water freezes to form cubes or ice cubes in other shapes, which are rotatable The ice ejector has a plurality of radial ice ejection arms. The drive module is configured to rotate the ejector shaft. It includes a drive motor that drives the periphery of the gear with an axial sleeve that accommodates and drives the vertical camshaft. The ...
