Problems solved by technology

[0006] The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a downlink signal transmission method and device in a multi-user MIMO system, so as to overcome the problems in the prior art due to the fact that each antenna unit at the base station transmitting end transmits signals independently in the spatial omnidirectional range. As a result, the defects of high transmission energy and low signal-to-interference ratio of user receivers

specific Embodiment

[0046] There are K=2 users in the downlink system: user 1 and user 2, and the correlation coefficient between the signals of the two users is equal to 0.2. The transmitter side of the base station uses M=2 antenna units with adjustable spatial response, and each linear antenna array consists of an equidistant linear array of 4 elements, namely L 1 =L 2 =4.

[0047] The two antenna units of the base station transmit data to the user terminal. The two transmitting antennas are respectively centered in a certain direction and extend with a certain angle as a radius to reach the user terminal and its surrounding objects. The signal is scattered by the surrounding objects to form a multipath signal. to the receiving antenna at the user end.

[0048] Using the direction of arrival estimation algorithm of the signal wave, we can know the direction range of each user relative to the base station Φ: the angular range of user 1 and its scatterers relative to the base station antenna u...

Abstract

The invention discloses a signal emission method of a down link in a multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) system. The signal emission method comprises the following steps of: generating a signal sj(n) transmitted to each user; pre-coding the signal sj(n) according to a channel estimation result and the spatial response of a transmitting antenna unit; controlling the spatial response of the transmitted signal by utilizing the arrival direction range phi of signal waves transmitted to a base station by the users and a distance D between each user and the base station; and transmitting the signal to a channel by utilizing the transmitting antenna unit with adjustable spatial response. The invention also discloses a signal emission device of the down link in the multi-user MIMO system. The invention adopts the antenna unit with adjustable spatial response to improve the receiving signal to interference ratio and can emit the signal only aiming at the users within a specific direction range through adjusting the weighting amplitudes and the phases of each array element signal in the antenna unit, thereby the emission power and the interferences among multiple users are reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, and in particular, to a downlink signal transmission method and device in a multi-user MIMO system. Background technique [0002] The next generation wireless communication system will provide users with higher data transmission rate and better service quality, and the system capacity will be greatly improved. However, the wireless spectrum resources available for wireless communication are limited, so the next-generation wireless communication technology must try to improve spectrum utilization. The multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is adapting to the requirements of future wireless communication technology development, and has developed rapidly in recent years. A MIMO system refers to a wireless communication system in which signals are sent at the transmitting end through multiple transmit antennas, and signals are received at the receiving end using multiple...
