Abstract

The invention discloses a machining method for easily deformed precision parts, such as the shell of an embroidery machine. The method comprises the following steps of: performing rough machining on a part, and leaving an allowance of less than 0.5 mm for a single side; performing cryogenic treatment on the part; positioning the part by using a positioning rod for finish machining after the cryogenic treatment, and controlling finish machining allowance to be small enough; and performing the cryogenic treatment on the part to eliminate internal stress, wherein positioning and compacting in the finish machining is performed by using the positioning rod, and a part which has high requirement on positioning hole position is machined. The machining method solves the problems in the conventional method that: 1, positioning by using a positioning surface is avoided, so that clamping deformation due to uneven positioning surface is avoided; 2, a mandrel is over-positioned, and the mandrel has a machining allowance of only 0.5 mm, is an aluminum part, and has a relatively small cutting force, so that after the mandrel is compacted, a small force is required for holding the embroidery machine shell; therefore, the clamping deformation is avoided; and 3, the cryogenic treatment is performed to eliminate the internal stress before the finish machining, so that stress deformation is minimized.
