Embodiment Construction

[0039] In order to better understand the present invention, the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0040] figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of the device for transmitting TDM services of the present invention, such as figure 1 As shown, the device of the present invention mainly includes: a TDM frame processing module and an encapsulation module, wherein,

[0041] The TDM frame processing module is used to be compatible with different line types, such as T1, E1 and other line types. In the present invention, it is used to receive the TDM data frame on the TDM network side, and output it to the encapsulation module after conversion;

[0042] The encapsulation module is used to select a predetermined TDM frame signal from the TDM data frame, encapsulate the predetermined TDM frame signal into a packet data packet, and then send the packet data packet to the packet switching network.

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for transmitting a time division multiplex (TDM) service. The method comprises the following steps of: encapsulating a predetermined TDM frame signal of a first TDM network side into a grouped data packet; and transmitting the grouped data packet to a packet switching network. Due to the adoption of the method and the device, certain channels and certain time slots in the TDM frame signal can be selectively loaded to a data packet so that the bandwidth utilization ratio of the network can be increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to network switching technology, in particular to a method and a device for transmitting time division multiplexing (TDM) services in a packet switching network (PSN). Background technique [0002] Traditionally, real-time services such as voice are transmitted through a time-division multiplexing (TDM) network. TDM network is based on circuit switching technology, although it can provide reliable service quality, but the bandwidth utilization rate is low and the price is expensive. With its technical cost advantage, data network has become a major business requirement in the past few years and will become the first choice for the main network architecture in the future. Operators are also gradually transitioning their TDM networks to packet-based systems. [0003] Since leased line services such as E1 / T1 and SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) / SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) are now common, in order to enable Ethernet to al...
