Abstract

The invention relates to a new method for identifying disturbance information of a large-scale interconnected power system, which comprises the following steps: (1) determining an observation space which comprises PMU measuring equipment arranged on a 500 kV transformer substation; (2) carrying out geographical zoning for the power system in accordance with regional administrative jurisdiction zones, emulationally calculating spread velocity of frequency shift (FS) corresponding to each observation point when large disturbance occurs in each zone, and establishing a dynamic frequency response characteristic database of the system; (3) detecting the time which the FS at each observation point reaches a given threshold value for the first time aiming at wide area frequency information obtained by collection or emulation after system fault; (4) identifying zones one by one, reading spread velocity vectors of the FS corresponding to the zones, bringing the vectors to the equations that s. t. f (x, y) is more than 0 (5), adopting an SQP optimization method to solve and identifying disturbance position and disturbance occurrence time, and treating all zones one by one, wherein t is more than tmin and less than tmax; and (5) comprehensively analyzing identification results and taking the disturbance position and time information corresponding to the minimum target function as the final identification result.
