Problems solved by technology

Presumably this would be considered a lapse in algorithmic design, however, the fact that it caused a delayed response rather than a more visible "crash" or wrong response makes it seem more likely that such a phenomenon would occur in undetected execution

Embodiment Construction

[0019] Preferred embodiments will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0020] figure 1 is a block diagram of a system (100) in which the apparatus of the preferred embodiment may be implemented. The system (100) includes a client computer (105) operable to interface with a server computer (110) and operable to generate requests.

[0021] The server computer (110) is operable to receive requests, eg, on a message queue (112), and process the requests. Preferably, the server is also operable to process multiple requests in parallel. The server computer (110) is operable to communicate with one or more remote server computers (120, 125, and 130), eg, if required to process a request.

[0022] The system (100) also includes an apparatus (115) according to a preferred embodiment operable to communicate with the server computer (110).

[0023] exist figure 2 Apparatus (115), depicted in more detail in , includes a dispatcher (200), a checker (205) an...

Abstract

An apparatus for promoting requirement execution is operated by a data processing system. The data processing system has an access member for access request and a processing member for request process. The apparatus includes a distributor for distributing a plurality of IDs to corresponding plurality of requests; a member for correlating a threshold to a first ID and a second ID; a request processor for correlating the request meeting the threshold and a qualified group; and a member for controlling the access member to make the access member operative to access the request correlated with the qualified group and operative to prevent from accessing the member of the request not correlated with the qualified group.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to means for facilitating the execution of requests. Background technique [0002] In a service-oriented architecture, it is natural to organize applications into hierarchies (or even networks) of interacting services. That is, the service provider will utilize other services autonomously. [0003] In this case, the previous concept of "tier" (as used, for example, in "two-tier client-server" or "three-tier client-server") no longer makes much sense. When a service provider invokes another service, it neither knows nor cares about the further delegation that occurs to fulfill its part of the request. [0004] Thus, it becomes very important to ensure that the service provider (eg, server processing) can continue to respond to its customers even if it has to wait for replies from other servers that it has little or no control over. This implies the observation that the service provider must either be explicitly multi-thr...
