Provided is a vehicle body structure which can prevent a door from entering the compartment even in case of a side impact collision by preventing deformation of a beam (4) extending in the width direction of a vehicle in the seat of the vehicle. In the body structure, a seat leg (2) is mounted above a cross member (1) and secured thereto. A pair of seat legs (2) is arranged on the right and left sides, and the seat legs (2) are interconnected by means of a rod member (3). A beam (4) is coupled to the upper end of the seat leg (2).
