A cluster topology structure is formed by jointing more than two intelligent units of equivalent status, wherein each intelligent unit at least comprises one framework controller provided with unique addressing number, and software for a cluster framework is loaded in the framework controller; and in a certain communication time interval, the intelligent unit is directly connected with one or more than two other intelligent units in the cluster control system through the communication among respective framework controllers to perform point-to-point communication including addressing, querying and data exchange. The intelligent cluster control system and the control method thereof have extremely high expansion capability, can conduct very complicated functions through the cluster framework under the condition that the processing capability of a single intelligent unit is relatively low, can be widely applied to various systems with more control points or monitoring points and realizes an application framework environment which is flexibly structured and has expandable functions.
