By way of sending a PLAOM message, an OLT first closes and then opens after a delay the lasers of all the ONUs in the GPON system one by one; after the lasers of an ONU are closed, the OLT queries the serial numbers of the other ONUs, and acquires the judgment result of whether the current ONU is a constant optical ONU according to whether or not the OLT can receive the serial numbers replied by the other ONUs when the laser of the current ONU is closed, wherein when the judgment result indicates that the ONU is a constant optical ONU, the laser of the ONU is closed permanently by way of sending a PLAOM message until all the ONUs are completed. The present invention realizes the isolation of the constant optical ONU in the GPON system by way of the above method and ensures service safety of the GPON system.
