Abstract

According to one embodiment, a lighting apparatus (1) includes a main body (2) including a flat thermal conduction surface (2b). The thermal conduction surface (2b) contacts a back surface of a board (4). Light-emitting devices (10) are mounted on a front surface of the board (4). An optical member (3) is opposed to a peripheral part of the board (4) on the front surface side of the board (4).
