Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for acquiring fuel quantity data in a fuel tank of a vehicle. In the method, the process of acquiring the fuel quantity data when the vehicle is in the running state comprises the following steps that: an automobile power supply supplies power to a central processing unit (CPU) through a regulated power supply, an adaptive cruise control (ACC) switchis switched on, and the automobile power supply supplies power to a fuel float sensor through the ACC switch and a fuel gauge; and the CPU intermittently acquires fuel level signals output by the fuel float sensor, converts the fuel level signals into digitalized fuel quantity data and corresponding acquisition time data and stores the digitalized fuel quantity data and the corresponding acquisition time data.
