The method includes: receiving a request message sent by a customer premise equipment for requesting to access a network; allocating dynamically a temporary access port to the customer premise equipment for the customer premise equipment to use according to the request message; implementing data transmission with the customer premise equipment by a central office equipment via the dynamically allocated temporary access port. With the present invention, resources are scheduled flexibly by dynamic switch for physical port resources. With the present method, the number of customers that the central office equipment supports is expanded farthest, the potential of the central office equipment is fully exerted, and thereby the cost of network establishment for an operator and the cost of accessing a network for customers are reduced obviously.
