Abstract
The invention relates to a method for evaluating a malicious code attack effect of a communication network, in which a system for evaluating a network attack effect is provided. Through the method, the problems that a qualitative and quantitative evaluation method for various network attack effects is lack, and a detection manner for the validity of attack action and the safety of a network system is lack at present are mainly solved. The method specifically comprises the following steps of: (1) qualitative evaluation on the attack effect: classifying malicious code attack actions based on the damage degree of the malicious code attack action on a suffered host and a suffered network according to a classification rule; and (2) quantitative evaluation on the attack effect: executing a statistical research on common network attack actions, and diving the network attack actions into five types of information acquiring attack, information tampering attack, service utilizing attack service denial attack and authority acquiring attach; and executing a normalization process and comprehensive calculation on an index value feedback by the attach by utilizing a mathematic method to obtain a quantized attack effect evaluation value.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention proposes a network attack effect evaluation system, which mainly solves the current problems of lack of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods for the effects of various network attacks, as well as the lack of detection means for the effectiveness of attack behavior and network system security, which belongs to the field of information security. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of communication network technology, IP-based packet switching network is growing stronger day by day. Dataization of network services, IP packetization of network technology, and integration of communication services have become the mainstream direction of communication network evolution. The development of computer technology and the expansion of IP-based packet switching network have brought rapid changes to the whole society and promoted the evolution of the whole society. However, the rapid development of network technology has...
