Benefits of technology

This patented technical effect describes an improved method used in cleaning up polluted waters from lakes through filtration systems. It involves moving a flexible boat called a floating island chains around the area where there was no sewage coming into contact with them while they were being filtered out. These boats move alongside each other at different speeds depending upon how fast their movement could affect the amount of contamination removed. Additionally, these filters have bacteria attached thereto, allowing harmful substances like nutrients (such as ammonium) to pass through. Overall, this new approach improves efficiency and reduces environmental concerns associated with traditional methods such as settling basins.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the efficiency with regards to cleanliness and prevention from algal growth or other harmful substances introduced during recreational activities such as fish farming operations. Current methods involve either constructing temporary filters near the entry point of the stream' s basin, installing them outside the pool walls, adding artificial floating plants, introducing various types of filtering elements inside the banks themselves, etc., but these techniques can be expensive due to their complexity and require significant infrastructure resources.

Embodiment Construction

[0017] like figure 1 , its structure is to connect a series of floating island monomers 1 through anti-corrosion ropes 2 to form a floating island chain, set a collar 6 at the head of the floating island chain, and enter the river bank of the bell mouth section of the lake 4 from the lake channel 3 5 and the river, respectively, hit the wooden stakes 7. In the river channel 3 that has shipping requirements, the waterway can be reserved to meet the shipping needs. The collar 6 at the head of the floating island chain is fixed on the wooden stakes 7 on the river bank 5. The wooden pile 7 is covered with a pulley 8, and the throwing rope 9 is passed through the pulley 8 and its two ends are respectively connected to the end of the floating island chain and the dock pile 11, and the two ends of the pulling rope 10 are directly connected to the end of the floating island chain and the dock pile 11. , forming a mobile floating island chain of plants. A multi-stage mobile plant floa...

Abstract

The invention relates to a movable type plant floating island chain applicable to an estuary of the lake. A series of floating island monomers are connected by an antiseptic rope to form a floating island chain, wherein the head end of the floating island chain is fixed to a shore, and the tail end of the floating island chain is controlled by retracting and releasing a rope system, so that the floating island chain is arranged along the full section of a riverway during the non-flood discharge period, and is moved to the shore to be fixed during the flood discharge period or high wind. The movable type plant floating island chain has the advantage that: the capacity of purifying the floating islands is improved by planting aquatic plants with a function of purifying water quality on a carrier and collocating with biological filter bulb fillers hung in a hexahedral frame on the lower part of a floating bed through the aquatic plant purification technology and biomembrane technology. A series of floating island monomers are connected together to form the movable type plant floating island chain of which the head end is fixed and the tail end is movable, so the movable type plant floating island chain can be arranged along the full section to purify the water quality fully and also can be moved to the shore during the flood period without influencing flood discharge; and the relation of the improvement of the water quality and the drainage of the flood discharge is coordinated, navigation channels are reserved in the riverway to meet the demands for shipping, so the movable type plant floating island chain is suitable for the purification of the water quality at the estuary of the lake and ecological restoration.
