Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: sending a ranging message to an off-line ONU; acquiring a serial number of the off-line ONU; after a first predetermined delay, distributing identification (ID) to the off-line ONU; acquiring an equalization delay of the off-line ONU; and after a second predetermined delay, transmitting the equalization delay to the off-line ONU to make the off-line ONU enter an on-line state. By the method, the device and the system, the control of the off-line ONU still can be realized by an optical line terminal (OLT) when an uplink optical path has a fault, so that user experience is improved.
