Abstract

The invention provides a hierarchical and regular mesh network routing method in the technical field of communications, which comprises the steps as follows: routing on a mesh network is realized by building a hierarchical and regular network topology structure; the hierarchical and regular network topology structure consists of the actual network nodes of a pyramid topology; a mesh network of a plane structure is firstly formed by the actual network nodes; then regular virtual plot topologies are formed by a valid topology control strategy; the virtual plot consists of actual network entities; under the hierarchical and regular network topology structure, a comprehensive link quality assessment index is adopted to describe the quality of a link between the virtual plots in the network as well as between the actual nodes; and the mesh network routing realizes the adaptation of the QoS (quality of service) demands and protocol and path quality by adopting a routing protocol based on geographical positions and link states. The hierarchical and regular mesh network routing method has the obvious effects of improving the adaptation capacity of the mesh network routing for channels and services, the fault-tolerance and load balancing of the mesh network and the QoS performance of the services.
