Abstract

The invention discloses a low-mercury long-life energy-saving lamp, comprising a lamp holder and a lamp tube connected with the lamp holder. The lamp tube comprises a glass wall, a protective film coated on the inner wall of the glass wall, and a phosphor layer coated on the protective film; solid amalgam is arranged in the lamp tube. The low-mercury long-life energy-saving lamp has the following advantages that: due to adoption of the solid amalgam instead of mercury, a. loss and diffusion of the mercury are effectively avoided during the process of producing, and pollution to the air environment caused by damage and abandonment of the product is obviously lightened; b. the amalgam has the same operation characteristics as that of the mercury, the best light output of the lamp can be ensured; and c. the actual amount of mercury filled in the lamp tube can be effectively controlled only by controlling granular size and weight of the amalgam. The consumption of the mercury is reduced by taking pre-coated nano-alumina as the protective film; and through combination with long-life cathode materials, the low-mercury long-life energy-saving lamp with 0.7-1 mg mercury is manufactured, thereby contributing to environmental protection.
