Abstract

The invention provides a transformer lifting method by which manpower and materials can be reduced, time is shortened and high security is ensured. The method is realized by utilizing a large transformer, and a crane and a steel wire rope which are used to lift the transformer, wherein a lifting hook is arranged on the crane. The method is characterized in that the steel wire rope and a chain block are used to reel and release in both horizontal and vertical directions of the transformer so as to place the transformer into a transformer room, and then the chain block is continuously used to move the transformer to the installation position. By adopting the method provided by the invention, the manpower and materials can be reduced, the time can be shortened and the security is high; and meanwhile, the difficulty of large size and heavy weight in the transformer lifting process can be solved.
