Abstract

The invention discloses a traction load modeling method based on equivalent fault conversion. The method comprises the steps of: firstly, judging an operating mode of a traction electric network, determining the magnitude of impulse current of a power supply arm and solving a load impedance conversion value; then solving impedance values, such as a short-time fault and the like; and finally, calculating an index value of power quality of a power grid to obtain a mathematical model capable of accurately describing traction load features. The traction load modeling method disclosed by the invention can be used for simulating the impact strength, the nonlinearity and the asymmetry of the traction load at the same time and can be applied to analysis of the power quality of an accessed power system. The traction load modeling method is already applied to actual projects and is verified by a traction substation in Xinyang city of Henan province. According to the traction load modeling method, by simulating the load of the traction substation, partial index values of the power quality of a regional power grid with introduction of an electrified railway are obtained, and a basis and a direction are provided for searching measures for improving the regional power quality.
