Abstract

Provided is a variable air valve system for a combustion motor. In the variable air valve system, the pressing force transmission member at least comprises a push rod which forms part of the pressing force producing source. The housing of the pressing force producing source is installed to an engine body. The pressing force transmission member is designed for slidingly connected with one end of one of the connecting pins located at one end along the axial direction. The connecting pins are pressed by a side spring toward the axial direction in a tilted manner and are mutually contacted, thereby allowing axial motion between the connecting position where adjacent rocker arms are connected and the breaking position where the connection is broken, thus to simplify the supporting structure of the push rod in the pressing force producing source. The central section of the pressing force transmission member can slidingly support to the engine body. The contact surface of the pressing portion used for contacting with the sliding contact surface of the side end portion of the pressing port formed at the rod form a spherical shape, thereby enhancing the abrasion resistance capability of the pressing portion and the rod in the contact area thereof.
