The method comprises the following steps of: providing a liquid pipe for circulating liquid; providing a metal pipe for outputting self capacitance, and covering the metal pipe on the liquid pipe; providing a screen shell for screening noise which generates interference; receiving a capacitance value output by the metal pipe, and converting the capacitance value into a corresponding oscillation signal; presetting a reference frequency; and detecting the frequency of the oscillation signal, comparing the frequency of the detected oscillation signal with the preset reference frequency, outputting a signal which shows that the liquid exists in the liquid pipe if the detected frequency is less than the reference frequency, and outputting a signal which shows that the liquid does not exist in the liquid pipe if the detected frequency is more than or equal to the reference frequency.
