Abstract

A soft-start circuit for a power supply includes: a buffer driven between an internal supply voltage and a ground voltage to receive an initial reference voltage at a non-inverting terminal and generate a reference voltage; a power-on reset device driven at between an internal power supply voltage and a ground voltage to output a reset voltage; an OR gate configured to output a reset signal by receiving the reset voltage and an enable-disable signal and performing an OR operation on the reset voltage and the enable-disable signal; a reset switch having a first terminal connected to the output terminal of the buffer and a second terminal connected to ground, a reset switch that is turned on / off in response to a reset signal (RST); and a boot capacitor having a first terminal connected to the output terminal of the buffer and a grounded terminal On the second side, the boot capacitor stores a charge corresponding to the reference voltage (VREF).
