Embodiment 1

[0015] Example 1 The present invention uses 3D-MRI to study the method of optic neuropathy

[0016] 1.1 Research objects 15 patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (9 males and 6 females), and 15 normal controls (9 males and 6 females).

[0017] Inclusion criteria for patients with advanced primary open-angle glaucoma:

[0018] (1) Diagnosed with primary open-angle glaucoma in both eyes

[0019] (2) Systematic ophthalmological examination to exclude other ophthalmic diseases that may affect the retina and optic nerve

[0020] (3) Systematic neurological examination to exclude neurological diseases

[0021] (4) Psychiatric examination excludes mental illness

[0022] (5) Obvious loss of visual field in both eyes.

[0023] (6) C / D≥0.8

[0024] Normal control inclusion criteria:

[0025] (1) Match the age and gender of the control group

[0026] (2) Systematic ophthalmological examination to exclude other ophthalmic diseases that may affect the retina and optic nerve

Abstract

The invention provides a method for researching optic neuropathy by using high-resolution 3D-magnatic resonance imaging (MRI) and an image reconstruction technology of the high-resolution 3D-MRI. The section of any segment of an optic nerve which is fully vertical to the optic nerve can be reconstructed by using 3D-MRI scanning; by the method, the scanning time is short, and the method is easy to operate and is a good means of researching optic neuropathy, and obtained data are accurate; and the sectional area of an optic nerve of an intraorbital segment of a late primary open angle glaucoma patient is obviously smaller than that of an optic nerve of an intraorbital segment of a normal person, so the feasibility of the method is further verified.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for studying optic neuropathy using high-resolution 3D-MRI. Background technique [0002] Optic neuropathy is one of the common lesions in ophthalmology. Clinically, it often manifests as vision loss or blindness, which affects the life and quality of life of patients. Early detection and correct diagnosis of optic neuropathy are the key to correct treatment and improvement of curative effect. Tumors, inflammation, trauma, etc. can cause abnormalities in the anatomical measurements of the optic nerve. With the development of neuro-ophthalmology, the impact of glaucoma and various fundus diseases on the state of the optic nerve has been increasingly reported. Therefore, it is of great significance to observe the anatomical state of the optic nerve with imaging. [0003] MRI has the characteristics of high soft tissue resolution, no radiation, arbitrary section imaging, and asexual artifacts. Especially with the develop...
