Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device as well as a system for carrying out data multicasting in batches in a wireless multicasting system. The method comprises the following steps: a multicasting service center carries out network coding on K original data packets of the current batch and then continuously distributes the K original data packets to base stations, then the base stations cast the K original data packets to user equipment serving as multicasting members in respective residential areas in a multiple manner; the user equipment reserves received correct coding data packets, abandons error coding data packets, and feeds back an ACK (Acknowledgement) response to the subordinate base stations after the network coding is decoded on the reserved coding data packets; and after receiving the ACK response transmitted by all the user equipment serving the multicasting members through the respective base stations, the multicasting service center users the original data packets of the next batch as the original data packets of the current batch and begins to carry out a new round of multicasting operation. The method has the advantages: the throughout capacity of arbitrary multicasting sessions can be achieved and the expenditure of uploading resources can be effectively saved.
