Problems solved by technology

The disadvantage is that the X-ray imaging components 6, 7 have no mobility
Furthermore, the X-ray imaging components 6, 7 may be located within the beam path of the therapeutic treatment beam, thus shortening the lifetime of the sensitive electronics of the X-ray imaging components 6, 7
It is also possible that the treatment ray source 4 limits the ray travel of the X-ray imaging components 6, 7

Embodiment Construction

[0016] exist figure 2 shows a radiotherapy system with two stationary pedestals with movable x-ray imaging modules. The radiotherapy system 1 comprises a radiotherapy module with a cantilever 3 , a radiation source (not visible here) for therapeutic treatment radiation (not visible here) and a sheet collimator (Lamellen-Kollimator) at least partially Located within the cantilever 3 , the treatment beam reaches the patient 8 supported on the patient table 5 during the treatment. The cantilever 3 is fixed on the motion control device in such a way that the cantilever 3 can rotate around the isocenter, so that the therapeutic treatment beam can be directed to the isocenter from different angles. The first pedestal 9 is arranged parallel to the floor 10 of the treatment room in which the radiotherapy apparatus 1 is placed and rigidly above the cantilever 3 . The second base frame 11 is rigidly integrated into the floor below the patient 8 . The radiotherapy equipment 1 compris...

Abstract

The present invention relates to radiation treatment equipment with a radiation treatment module. The radiation treatment module comprises a cantilever. The treatment ray can irradiate from the cantilever to an object to be irradiated and furthermore the cantilever is fixed on a movement control device that the cantilever can rotate around a central point. Thus the treatment ray can irradiate to an isocenter point from different angles. Besides, the radiation treatment module comprises at least one X-ray imaging module with an X-ray source and an X-ray detector. The X-ray source is movably configured on a first frame which is above the cantilever and is parallel with ground. The X-ray detector is movably configured on a second below an object. Thus, the X-ray source and the X-ray detector can be moved randomly along the first frame or the second frame through an advantageous mode and are positioned for X-ray imaging photography.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a radiotherapy system with a therapeutic radiotherapy module and at least one diagnostic x-ray imaging module. Such radiation therapy equipment is mainly used to treat tumors. Background technique [0002] The use of radiation to destroy diseased tissue is a widely used method in radiation medicine. Devices using high-energy electromagnetic radiation (X-radiation, gamma radiation) or particle radiation (electrons, protons, carbon ions) are used for this purpose. Radiation used in radiotherapy is typically in the megavolt (MV) energy range. During radiation therapy, precise positioning of the patient is required to ensure that the body region to be irradiated, especially the tumor to be irradiated, receives a sufficiently high radiation dose, while at the same time damaging the patient's healthy tissue as little as possible. For localization, the localization of the body region to be irradiated inside the patient is usually c...
