The invention discloses a measurement method of the hardness of rubber, comprising the following steps of: when the quantity of a new sample Xnew for updating a model reaches to a threshold value T, updating an online hardness predication model f: x->y by one time; when the hardness does not reach to the threshold value T, not updating until the threshold value T is reached; and after the updated online hardness predication model is obtained, predicating a rubber hardness value corresponding to the new sample of the next train number by the updated online hardness predication model to obtain a difference value between the rubber hardness value and a actually-measured rubber hardness value, so as to obtain an error. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the online hardness predication model is continuously updated so that the accurate rubber hardness value is obtained and the quality of the rubber is improved; and an actual test verifies that relatively high precision can be obtained by using the method and the potential safety hazard is reduced.
